Tom Gualtieri and David Sisco met in 2003 at the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop where they are ongoing members. They have been writing together ever since. Their musical Falling to Earth received a workshop production at Syracuse University New Play Workshop, has been part of The York Theatre’s Developmental Reading Series and was recently featured at Nautilus Music-Theater’s Rough Cuts Reading Series. They made their Feinstein’s/54 Below debut in Fall 2015 with songs from I’m Afraid You’re Afraid: 448 Things to Fear and Why (based on the book by Melinda Muse), My First Five Husbands (based on the Rue McClanahan’s autobiography) and other works. Tom and David have appeared onstage together in David’s two one-act plays, Bait n’ Swish. They have presented workshops and performed at the 2011 Music Teachers National Association.

Beyond their collaborative success, Tom’s That Play: A Solo Macbeth received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Unique Theatrical Experience and, as of 2015, he has several television projects in development. In November of 2014, David made his Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center debuts with his classical art songs and a commissioned choral work. He is also the Founder & President of contemporarymusicaltheatre.com, an exhaustive database of contemporary writers and songs.
